Mattaponi Agility Dogs is proud to announce its new agility training location, still in Manassas, Virginia. Starting in April, we will be offering our usual slate of classes from a new location at the Prince William County Fairgrounds (10624 Dumfries Rd. which is Business Rt. 234) in Manassas. This location affords us two 110’ x 110’ agility rings, liberal parking, and nearby port-a-johns. Although our schedule will initially remain as in the past, we are exploring additional training options that we may be able to offer our dedicated agility clients in the future.
Below is a satellite view of the fairgrounds and the path you need to take from the entrance on Dumfries Road (VA BR-234) back to the agility area.
Once you arrive at the fairgrounds, go through the main gate and continue straight back to the dead end at the tree line. Turn left on the road, and follow it along the tree line to the end of the RV storage area. Turn left and then quickly right turn onto another dirt road that goes between the trees. You will then see the horse ring in front of you. Make a left turn into the agility parking lot.
